Our circumstances DO NOT get the last word.
The enemy DOES NOT get the last word.
Death and disease DO NOT get the last word.
Trials and pain ARE NOT in vain.
Suffering and grief DO NOT go unnoticed.
God intervenes with mercy and power. No, he does not promise to make all hard things go away in this life, but he (through the mess, pain, suffering, etc.) is bringing about his plan to be made known and worshipped by all Peoples. He will go to extreme measures, but God knows what he is doing.
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. – Genesis 8:1
