My attempt at writing poems to express deep things…
“Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1
God, you created all things.
Lord, you alone are God.
You are all-powerful, mighty beyond all others.
God, you are deserving of all glory.
Lord, you stand apart from all your creation—holy.
You are perfect in every way, infinite and eternal.
It’s all by you.
It’s all about you.
It’s all for you.
It’s not about me.
God, you chose me.
Lord, you delivered me.
You give me new life.
God, you washed me white as snow.
Lord, you redeemed me by your own blood.
You love me to the fullest.
It’s all by you.
It’s all about you.
It’s all for you.
It’s not about me.
God, you made me yours for the sake of your name.
Lord, you saved me so that you would be made known.
You do all things so that your glory would fill the earth.
God, change my heart so you are at the center.
Lord, fill my life with your joy so you alone satisfy.
You are perfect – what more could I want?
It’s all by you.
It’s all about you.
It’s all for you.
If it’s not about me, then may Christ rule my heart,
to make it all about You!
